About Us

Polo is a fast, fun and exciting sport and SUPC offers a great and cost effective way to experience it. The club caters for ALL levels of experience from non riders to handicapped players, with a particular aim in making polo a sport accessible to all and providing the opportunity to compete across all levels.

Training

We train on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the year -in the arena in the Winter months and on grass from Easter onwards. Training usually takes place at Druids Lodge Polo Club which is around a 50 minute drive from the University campus, and all transport to lessons is arranged by SUPC.

Competition

We send teams of all abilities to two major national tournaments each year organised by the Schools and Universities Polo Association (SUPA) the Winter Nationals in February and the Summer Nationals in June. As well as this we take part in a university league tournament and organise a variety of instructional chukkas, friendly tournaments with other universities and our own alumni.
